Songs and melodies of 1940 which touched, accompanied, and also gave courage, vigor and hope to the hearts of the Greek people during the hard days of the War. Creators who succeded to touch and encourage common people with their spirit. Constantinidis, Souyoul, Sakkellaridis, together with Traiforos and Sakellarios, wove on the canvas of the Greek soul, using the most refined materials, images of a more beautiful, free and glorious world. Their leading voice that had interpreted their songs, the voice of the Struggle against the Fascists of Muscolini, Sophia Vempo.
Three special singers with a common lyrical background, Babis Velissarios, Eleni Voudouraki and Ioanna Forti, who use the stylistically exceptional orchestrations of the great Vassilis Tenidis, revive with their voices the atmosphere of another era: that of a lost, noble generation to which we owe a lot.
