Athens Big Band
The Athens Big Band shares the stage with a rising star, the young guitarist Dimitris Kassavetis. At the age of 15, Kassavetis is in the spotlight of the Greek jazz scene, enjoying already a fulfilling career. The program showcases his natural musical gifts, through a repertoire that includes works by major contemporary composers, such as the legendary Kurt Rosenwinkel. The concert features also Manos Theodosakis, a highly esteemed trumpet virtuoso.
