On April 2nd, 1980 Vasilis Lekkas gave a recital in the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, under the baton of Manos Hadjidakis. The live broadcast of the concert by the Third Programme (ERT) marked the beginning of his amazing journey in music. Focusing on some of the most important Greek composers, such as Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis and Yannis Markopoulos, Vasilis Lekkas presents a programme of timeless Greek songs, closely related to the contemporary history of Greece.
