A noble craftsman of words, and a figure that almost seems to have escaped from a novel, Manos Eleftheriou wrote the lyrics that “dressed” over 400 songs of the greatest contemporary composers, including Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Yiannis Spanos and Stavros Kouyioumtzis, marking a whole era of Greek literature with his style. Giota Negka and the Egrastiri of Greek Music point out the wealth of his poetic writing that touches many different aspects of life and is polysemous, through a musical trip to the most beloved paths of his work.
